FAQ about Trustlayer Pulse
What is TrustLayer Pulse?
TrustLayer Pulse is our industry first solution allowing carriers to provide a real-time proof of insurance through pulse network. Once proof of coverage is received we can perform a lookup into carrier admin systems and validate the coverage is in force.
Who can benefit from TrustLayer Pulse?
Due to the collaborative nature of the platform, all stakeholders in the risk transfer chain (i.e., insurers, brokers, enterprises, SMBs as well as organizations concerned with compliance can benefit from Pulse.
What other Carriers is TrustLayer working with?
TrustLayer currently has Nationwide and a few carriers providing this on their websites. We are in discussions with other carriers and the benefit of TrustLayer is we can still automate much of the process as lights turn on with other carriers.
How does TrustLayer Integrate with Carriers?
TrustLayer can integrate through different means depending on where the carrier is in their journey and what systems they are using. We currently use APIs, CSV files as methods of integration.
How does the Integration Work?
TrustLayer extracts data off the COI and if it is a Nationwide Policy we will perform a lookup into their Policy admin system to verify if the policy is it force. Lookups are continuously performed to see if the policy status has changed.
Is there a cost for the look up?
Currently we are not charging for the Nationwide integration for current and new TrustLayer customers.
